This SMART Best Practices Committee is focused on seamless and secure processing of airport passengers, baggage, cargo, aircraft, and ground transportation via automation and robotics (including autonomous vehicles and drones). Leveraging automation and robotics for seamless backend Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is also addressed; such as security screening, safety inspections, work orders, etc.
This Best Practices Committee has a broad scope. The following outline represents the organization of this scope, which may evolve over time and be distributed across several working groups (i.e., sub-committees).
