Membership

This free membership level is for airport owners worldwide, including management and staff, as well as for government agencies worldwide.  SMART's mission is first and foremost to facilitate the success of airport owners with technology applications.  Hence, this membership level includes essentially all benefits at no cost.  Registration at SMART's annual symposium -- AIRPORTECH -- is also discounted. 

Individual airport staff may simply join directly by signing-up at the bottom of this page or contacting SMART via phone or e-mail.

University faculty and students may join individually or via a university-wide membership, which would include all its faculty and students.  University-wide membership is equivalent to a SMART Associate Membership, as described below with full benefits.  

The membership cost for individual university faculty is $400 USD per year (same as individual professional membership).  The membership cost for individual university students is $200 USD per year.  

University-wide membership cost is $10,000 USD per year.  This level membership is the same as an Associate Membership, including corresponding benefits (see below).

Professionals may join individually or via a company-wide membership.  

This membership level is priced below based on the company size, in terms of the number of employees.  This membership level is intended for airlines, aviation service providers, technology solution innovators, and consultants.  This membership level has limited benefits, except when the company has over 500 employees, which involves a membership fee equivalent to SMART Associate Membership, 

as described below with full benefits.

The membership cost for individual professionals is $400 USD per year.  Corporate-wide professional membership costs are as follows:

2-20 Corporate Employees is $1,000 USD per year

21-50 Corporate Employees is $2,000 USD per year

51-100 Corporate Employees is $4,000 USD per year

101-250 Corporate Employees is $6,000 USD per year

251-500 Corporate Employees is $8,000 USD per year

500+ Corporate Employees is $10,000 USD per year.  This level membership is the same as an Associate Membership, including corresponding benefits (see below).

This highest membership level (for non-airport/government representatives) is reserved for those companies and universities who wish to serve in a SMART Associate role, shaping the services of the association, alongside the Association's airport/government members.  

This level involves a higher membership cost; however, in-return the SMART Associate enjoys all available benefits including discounted symposium costs.  This sponsorship level costs $1,000 USD per month or $10,000 USD per year.
