This SMART Best Practices Committee is focused on improving airport security via technology innovations including screening of passengers, employees, meeter-greeters, carry-ons, baggage, cargo, supplies, waste, vehicles, drones, robots, perimeter, and cyber. Cybersecurity is addressed across our increasingly complex technology environment involving AI, autonomous vehicles and robotics, and multiplying systems integrations via APIs adding potential "backdoor" cyber threats through interconnected systems.
