This SMART Best Practices Team is focused on Information Technology (IT) advances and corresponding bandwidth and speed requirements to be supported by airport data centers, cloud services, and communications infrastructure; including support for AI, continued growth of IoT devices and sensors such as CCTV cameras and LiDAR across the terminal complex, as well as interfacing with upcoming robotic platforms and autonomous vehicles. This committee is also focused on leveraging an enterprise API mesh for microservices data sharing/exchange.

This Best Practices Team has a broad scope. The following outline represents the organization of this scope, which may evolve over time and be distributed across several working groups (i.e., channels).
